The 2005 Cabernet Franc fruit was purchased from a vineyard that borders Turley Winery, north of Saint Helena. The fruit was purchased as a blending component for our district wines. We used 10% in our 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, but because of its exceptional quality decided to the bottle the remaining wine on it’s own. We may not produce this wine every vintage, but when the quality and quantity allow we will. The aromas are packed with dark berries, spice and cassis. The pallet is rich, yet balanced with smooth tannins and a lingering finish. This is not your typical Cabernet Franc!
